On oaths of Theobald de Brigham, Robert de Garton, William Mahew, Hugh de Thornholm, Simon de Spynes, Robert Ansayll, Peter le Fereur, William de Hundmanby, Marmaduke de Garton, William de Foxholes, Thomas de Grendale, Thomas de Etton, John de Harkestowe, William de Fosteton, William de Cayton, John Fauconer, William de Levening, Robert Cornewalays, William Sleght, Thomas Freman, Robert de Dringhowe, John de Dringhowe, Robert Selow and Richard de Skardburgh: Neither the crown nor the Earls of Albemarle had any interest in the manors of Skirlington and Little Kelk during a vacancy in office of prior of Bridlington; nor any interest in the office by reason of the manors; but only what they were accustomed to have. Ancestors of Thomas de Cailly (under age and in custody of Group) had no interest in the office during a vacancy by reason of a messuage, 13 carucates and 2 bovates in Bridelington and Eston. Neither the Crown nor any other chief lord had any custody of profit during a vacancy, but all profits and issues were at the disposal of the convent of the priory. 9 small seals.
