Diary of a trip made by Francis Johnson to France during which trip he celebrated his 18th birthday. The diary records that he set out on 9 Apr 1929, that he was accompanied by Messrs Baxter, Beal, Needler, Kaye, Field and Stather, and that they spent some time in London before continuing to France. Entries record places visited, architectural details and buildings observed during the trip. Also contains some sketches at the beginning and end of the volume, and a note at the beginning of the volume which suggests the volume was originally intended to make revision notes for a history exam.
