Hardbound volume containing the signed manuscript minutes of the Finance and General Purpose Sub-Committee of the Missions to Seamen. Includes references to expenditure on behalf of the society re salaries, expenses and stipends, individual ports, honorary secretaries, honorary chaplains, sub-committees, annual meetings, boats, donations. Minute numbers 15963-17119. Also includes a letter dated 1918 about an endowment of £5000 to provide an institute for the accommodation of sailors at Southampton, to be named the H.F. Bailey Memorial Institute.
