The committee has functioned under the following names: Ministry Committee (2004+); Pastoral Committee (1974-2004); Personnel Committee (1971-1974); Candidates Sub-Committee (1939-1971); Clerical Sub-Committee (1881-1939). Minutes relate to applications, appointments, wages, expenses, equipment, etc. and reference named individuals applying for and appointed to the posts of chaplain and lay reader. Working files include correspondence and associated papers.
