Files relating to work of the Mission to Seafarers (formerly the Missions to Seamen), in British home ports, i.e. Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. Note that files relating to international ports (including the Republic of Ireland) are in a separate series 'Port Files (International)' [U DMS/11/2]. Files generally contain monthly port reports, correspondence, extracts from minutes of meetings, notes, etc., and may also contain copy minutes of meetings in full, photographs and publicity material.
