Description:
Green album containing black and white photographs recording a dedication ceremony for the New Chapel of St Peter, the institution of Reverend Charles Strong as chaplain, and the reopening of the Missions to Seamen's Antwerp institute, with an order of ceremony for the celebration enclosed. Photographs show the chapel, Reverend Strong greeting dignitaries arriving at the institute, a group of clergy including Reverend Strong and R.W. Stopford as the Bishop of Fulham, the dedication service in the chapel, a dignitary [Sir George Labouchere?] speaking at a table draped with a Flying Angel flag, attendees stood chatting and taking refreshments. Note that the front page inscribed 'For the General Superintendent & Committee Missions to Seamen London'.
