- Black album containing black and white photographs recording the activities of the Missions to Seamen. Images show the following: Flying Angel flag flying from a vessel's mast [possibly the MV. John Ashley]; the MV John Ashley approaching a ship in the Thames; the captain of the John Ashley eating with a group of men onboard a vessel; a service onboard the MV John Ashley; the Missions to Seamen's Chaplain to the Chinese on the Thames, who is seen to be boarding a ship and performing a baptism of Chinese seamen; ship visiting at Tilbury and Lagos; the Esso refinery at Milford Haven; the Missions to Seamen institutes at Pernis and Durban; ship visiting at Immingham; a confirmation performed at Dar es Salaam; a prayer service in a church at Rotterdam; a ship's crew at work, eating and demonstrating rope knotting. Note that some photographs are duplicates also found within U DMS/16/5/17.
