Description:
Leather hardbound volume containing manuscript entries made by Reverend G.C.M. Hall as chaplain in charge of the vessel. Entries record names and numbers (in brackets) of ships visited, publications handed out, persons met, work to vessel, prayers and hymns. At the end of the log entries there is a page to which is affixed a small photograph of a man [Hall?], and a note of the total number of ships visited in the period covered by the log (2057). At the end of the volume there is a table recording the date, ship and place that bibles and prayer books were given out, and that letters were posted. Note that the vessel was the donation of a man from Newfoundland to the St. Andrews Waterside Mission.
