Includes references to the following: maintenance, repairs and upgrades to the vessel; installation of a wireless radio system in 1960; statistics for visits made to ships and visitors to the 'John Ashley'; donations and collections taken in 1963 for the replacement of the 'John Ashely II'; application for survey or inspection of the M.V.
