File containing chaplains' completed returns, notes, and correspondence between Mr Fairclough and Miss Margaret Maclean as Morecambe Bay lightvessel Parent group leaders and A.G.D. 'Guy' Bagot as area secretary, and G.L. Parnell as secretary of the Lightships and Lighthouses Committee of the Missions to Seamen. Includes references to the following: lightvessel 'adoption' scheme; T. Smith as master of the lightvessel; sending of 'woolies' by Maclean as gifts to the crew of the lightvessel; lightvessel relief schedules with details of changes to crew; death of Maclean in 1959; transportation onboard the Trinity House vessel 'Argus'; visits made by Bagot to the lightvessel; Trinity House permits for visits; Christmas hamper sent to the lighthsip crew by a Mrs Birchall and her willing replacement as Parent group leader by Mr Fairclough.
