The New Review was published in London in 5 volumes between 1974 and 1979. Its editor was the poet Ian Hamilton, who had been lecturer in poetry at Hull in 1972/73. The magazine replaced The Review which had been published in Oxford from 1961.

Description:

This collection contains typescripts, corrected proofs, illustrations and correspondence for all but three of the fifty issues of this magazine published between 1974 and 1980. The journal is held in the main library.
