Comments on Larkin's poetry, saying 'you're going places', and in particular what he calls 'The trees at the edge of the serious wood' (is referring to 'The house at the edge of the serious wood' - see DP174/2/223 [CP258 - 259]). 6pp. Contains ill., entitled `Young Poite and Friend', of two figures, one of which is Larkin, leaning on a bar.
