The scholar and poet, Graham Goulder Hough, was born in Lancashire in 1908. He was Professor of English, University of Cambridge, 1966-75 and Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge, 1964-75. He was the author of The Romantic Poets and others. He died in Cambridge in 1990.
