- NACRO is a social justice charity established in 1966 from a previous National Association of Discharged Prisoners' Aid Societies. It became the biggest criminal justice related charity in England and Wales. NACRO is directly involved in policy discussions with the Home Office and provides services relating to education, housing, substance misuse treatment and the prevention of reoffending.
