Play by Alan Plater, about a writer in residence at a local branch library, who is actually an imposter, and a threat to close the library. Contains two copies of a second draft script entitled 'I thought I heard a rustling' (c. 1990), one with some amended text selotaped in and one photocopy with manuscript annotations about casting and rehearsal dates at the Theatre Royal, Stratford; a note about media initiatives relating to the play (1991) and cards to Alan Plater with best wishes for the first night (Jan 1991).
