Description:

This collection is comprised predominantly of handwritten ledgers for the company Kay and Backhouse Ltd. which give details of the work undertaken by the company for different clients and the cost of the work. Each client is given their own page(s) with additions to their accounts made over several years. The ledgers U DX122/19-21 appear to be a continuation of the ledgers at U DX122/14-18, with accounts carrying on into the second set of ledgers once the clients' pages had been filled in the first set of ledgers.

There are also three other items which do not relate directly to Kay and Backhouse Ltd. but were donated at the same time.
