North Frodingham is a village in the Hull valley about 5 miles south east of Driffield in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The manor of North Frodingham is listed in the Doomsday Book when it was held by Ulf (in 1066) and then by Drew de Bevrère (in 1086). The land was held by Thornton Abbey until the dissolution of the monastries. It then seems to have passed through a number of hands before it was purchased in 1674 by Robert Bethell a Hull merchant and was held by the family at the time of inclosure in 1808.

The bulk of the Bethell's estate was sold in 1865.
