Holy Trinity Church is the largest parish church in England and is located in the centre of Hull's old town. It was built in the late thirteenth century as a chapel of ease and became a parish church in 1661. There are many memorials within the church, ranging from tombs and effigies to floor slabs and wall-tablets, which date from the fourteenth century right up to the late twentieth century
