Typescript copies of Extracts from Bunyon's Memoir and USPG [United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel] Archives.
The original letters were written by Bishop F.T. McDougall and Harriette McDougall. The recipients include Ellen Robson, Charles Bunyon, John Robson, Ellen Bunyon, Frances Colenso, Eliza Bunyon, the Secretary for the Colonies and S.P.G. [Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts].
The range of topics covered includes domestic, missionary, school and political affairs. Including Harriette McDougall's opinion on the character required in a missionary, death of their sons, Bishop F.T. McDougall's medical care of naval personnel and local inhabitants and Annie Brooke's death.
The letters were written from a number of locations including Singapore, London, Calcutta [Kolkata], possibly Penang Hill, Santubong, Sarawak and Malta.
