Personal correspondence concerning their poetry and Joan's failing eyesight, as well as discussion of Davis' translation of a thirteenth-century Persian poem and an account of meeting Andrew Motion. Also included are two ts. poems, 'Fraulein X' (by Dick Davis) and 'I. M. Percy Pooley, died 1980, aged 92'. The letters refer to poems by Edgar Bowers which are at U DX340/4/1.
