Dave Evans is a retired County Archaeologist. He began wokring in archaeology in 1972 and has worked around the UK. He was County Archaeologist, firstly for Humberside, and when Humberside County Council was abolished in 1 April 1996 he became Archaeology Manager for the Humber Archaeology Partnership for 20 years.
