The Hull Bench Book II, from which the rental has been extracted, can be located at reference, C BRE/1/1, which is available on microfilm, at roll number 173. Further copies of the Rental can be located at C DMX/213/1, whilst at C DMX/213/2 is a table showing the owners of plots in the town, compiled from notes by prepared by J.R. Boyle. Volumes compiled by Arthur Bromley Wilson-Barkworth can be found at L DLAB, whilst a search through the History Centre's indexes will produce details of the many articles written by him. Stanewell's 'Calendar of the ancient deeds, letters, miscellaneous old documents, &c., in the archives of the Corporation' can be found at L.9.7. In addition, some of the information at C TMK will have been compiled by Stanewell.
